ICASA aims to contribute to a substantial decrease in the proportion of ADHD patients developing an addiction/substance use disorder (SUD) and to substantially improve the detection, diagnosis and treatment of patients having both ADHD and SUD.

Maija Konstenius, PhD
Maija Konstenius, Karolinska Institutet Clinical Neuroscience, Stockholm, is a licensed psychologist and head of division at Stockholm Center for Dependency Disorders. Her main research interest is Substance Use Disorders and ADHD. Her work includes both clinical trials and epidemiological studies. Maija Konstenius has a number of publications in peer reviewed journals and gave lectures in the subject of treatment and assessment of SUD, ADHD and comorbidities. She is a board member of ICASA foundation.
